- M-commerce is now more accessible than ever, and technology is making it easier than ever for mobile users to shop from their phones or tablets. New technologies such as NFC (Near Field Communication) and Mobile Wallets make it easy for users to pay for goods from their phones. QR codes make it easy for merchants to offer deals and advertisements to mobile users.

- Nearly 1 in 5 users research products from their phones while watching TV. $1 out of every $10 of discretionary spending is spent online.

- Men will outspend women this year in mobile shopping. Men will spend an average of $677 and woman will spend an average of $489 shopping from their phones. Digital content is the most purchased by mobile shoppers, followed by clothing, activities, electronics, and health & beauty items.

- Retailers should utilize mobile spending. M-commerce is an industry that is expected to grow to $31 billion by 2016. Yet only half of online retailers have optimized their site for mobile devices.

- The e-commerce industry as a whole is expected to surpass $1 trillion by 2014.

- If you don’t have a mobile website or app yet for your business, be sure to contact a professional mobile website company.
